Description:
Partially preserved grave cut for infant burial [A-002]. Extremely shallow as the burial is only just below the plough zone, so that all but the very base of the cut has been destroyed. Best preserved at the western (head) end, the rest of its extent is estimated from the disposition of the surviving bones. The preserved end is rounded in plan, and the base of the cut was pretty much flat, as far as it could be defined.
